33 Percent of KDMPs in Cilegon Have Their Own Buildings, Wait for a Manager from the Center
Regarding the division of roles, Suhendi explained that the Regional Government's authority is limited to providing land, forming management, and providing organizational governance training for cooperative administrators.
On the other hand, Suhendi emphasized that the Cilegon City Government is not responsible for financing salaries or honorariums for KDMP managers. Payroll policies and nominal amounts received by managers are completely under the control of the central government.
"The salary comes from the center. The regions don't know about the salary system and the amount because it comes directly from the center," he explained.

Apart from financial matters, the Cilegon City Government also admitted that it had not received confirmation regarding the exact number of managers who would be assigned by the center to manage these cooperatives in Cilegon.
"The managers are appointed by the center. As for how many managers are placed in Cilegon, we still have to wait for information from the center for further coordination," he explained.
Meanwhile, one of the KDMP administrators in Cilegon, who asked that his identity be kept confidential, hopes that the presence of a central assignment manager will be able to quickly adapt to local conditions and not cause obstacles for members who have already joined.
