Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Ribka Haluk Presents the Cultural Figure Award at the 2026 PIKI Awards
According to him, becoming a figure requires a long struggle and sacrifice, not a shortcut. He believes that examples built through process and struggle have a greater influence than just speeches.
"We are very grateful, yes, there are figures fighting for anti-corruption, education, the environment, who hopefully will be born in the future such figures," he explained.
Maruarar also emphasized that PIKI is an organization that is open to various groups.
